It’s the latest and greatest in dog sports! You can
learn Rally to compete, or just for fun! Rare
Breeds, Mix Breeds and Purebreds compete under APDT

have seen them on the cover of US News and World
Report or on the Purina Beneful Bag. Leave your
dog at home but feel free to bring a picture of
your dog (not wearing anything) that we can keep.

needed just the ability to relax and have fun with your

Carting

Dogs of any size and any breed can enjoy learning to pull
a wagon or cart. A special carting harness must be
ordered before the start of class. A "measuring
party" will be held at the Lebanon training space so
that participants can order a harness in time for
classes - Feb 6 or call for a different time. Your dog must have veterinary clearance for
pulling before the start of class. Prior experience in an
obedience class is preferred. A great skill for any dog
who participates in Animal
Assisted Therapy or has children at home. A terrific
way to spend time with your dog and collect firewood, the

Coursing (Follow the link for more

Fun and fast for all sizes. Lure Coursing is
letting your dog do what comes naturally - chase
stuff. The area is completely fenced and dogs who
have never tried coursing are invited. Your dog
must be a minimum of one year of age, physically mature
for their breed and you must have your veterinarian clear
your dog for this sport. Lure coursing is lots of
fun but the dogs run hard so please check with your
veterinarian. Dogs will be run individually and the
Hunt Master has final say on temperature, weather and
turf cancellations, whether a dog may run and how many
times a dog may run in a day. Please call two hours
before the start of coursing to determine temperature,
weather and turf conditions.
