You’ve gotten though basic training for the family pet. What’s the next challenge?
It’s time for fun with your dog.
AKC Tricks Titles
Every dog should have a few “stupid pet tricks” in his/her repertoire! Counting, shaking hands, jumping through hoops, dog bowling, find the treat, and wipe your nose are just some of the tricks your dog can learn. Fun stuff for you and your dog! Great for dogs interested in Animal Assisted Therapy. There are four levels of American Kennel Club titles which are open to all dogs of any breed or mix. We recommend taking a Shaping Class prior to taking these classes but do not require it. You’ll have everything you need to get your title! Each student will be working on a group of individual tricks so you may take a tricks class at any level, at any time. We offer titling opportunities at then end of each series of classes! You need not take class with us to try for your title – please call to schedule if you are not currently enrolled in the Tricks class.
